L’interprétation du patrimoine culturel marocain vers une médiation innovante à l’ère du numérique

L’évolution des Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication (TIC) et l’essor des humanités numériques apportent de nombreux changements significatifs dans le domaine du patrimoine culturel. Les institutions patrimoniales peuvent bénéficier des diverses possibilités offertes par la technologie, notamment en tirant parti de la réalité étendue (XR) pour rendre le patrimoine culturel plus accessible et inclusif. Depuis 2011, le Maroc a adopté une nouvelle approche de valorisation de l’héritage culturel et de son appréhension par le grand public ; il s’agit de l’interprétation du patrimoine culturel marocain. A travers le présent article, nous essayons de répondre aux questions suivantes : quel est l’état des lieux de l’interprétation du patrimoine au Maroc ? Dans quelle mesure cette interprétation est ouverte sur le numérique ? Et comment la médiation numérique affecte-t-elle la représentation du patrimoine culturel marocain ? Ainsi, nous démontrons, d'une part, que les TIC apportent une contribution indéniable à l'appréciation et à la compréhension du patrimoine culturel, et de l'autre part, nous mettrons en évidence les enjeux qui découlent de cette fusion.

The evolution of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as well as the rise of the digital humanities are bringing many significant changes to the field of cultural heritage. Heritage institutions can benefit from the various possibilities offered by technology, especially the extended reality (XR) to make cultural heritage more accessible and inclusive. Strengthening the integration of ICT in innovative development projects for heritage institutions no longer seems to be a luxury choice, but rather a necessity to support the changes in modern society. Since 2011, Morocco has adopted a new approach of promoting cultural heritage and its apprehension; it is about the interpretation of Moroccan cultural heritage. Thereby, through this article, we are trying to answer the following questions: what is the state of the art of heritage interpretation in Morocco? To what extent is this interpretation open to the digital? And how does digital mediation affect the representation of Moroccan cultural heritage? Answering these questions, we demonstrate, on the one hand, that ICTs make an undeniable contribution to the appreciation and understanding of cultural heritage, and on the other hand, we highlight the issues that arise from this merger.
