بين الذاكرة والتاريخ: دراسة سيميائية لرواية “وادي اللبن” لعبد اللطيف محفوظ

تثير رواية "وادي اللبن" لعبد اللطيف محفوظ تساؤلات عديدة، تجيب عن بعضها، وتترك الكثير منها مفتوحا. لذا، فإننا سنعمد، في هذه الدراسة، إلى إبراز أهمّ التساؤلات التي طرحت هنا؛ من قبيل سؤال الذاكرة وعلاقتها بالوهم، وسؤال التاريخ والحقائق المتعددة. إن الخلفية التي انطلقنا منها تتمثل في الجمع بين التصور الذاكراتي في جانبه السيميائي، الذي يشير إلى عَدِّ الذاكرة بمثابة حوار بين الماضي والحاضر، والنظر إليها في شقّها الفردي والجماعي، وكذا النظر إلى مختلف النصوص التي تحتفي بها الجماعة بوصفها وثائق تاريخية.

Abdul Latif Mahfouz's novel, "Wadi al-Laban," provokes numerous questions, answering some and leaving many open-ended. This study aims to highlight the most significant inquiries raised within the text; such as the question of memory and its relationship to illusion, and the question of history and its multiple truths. Our starting point is a combination of the semiotic conception of memory, which views memory as a dialogue between the past and the present, and a consideration of memory on both individual and collective levels. Additionally, we examine the various texts celebrated by the community as historical documents.
